I haven't blog for a few days now, my mind otherwise occupied by the growing pressures of our situation and my undeterred desire to rest all my hope in God my maker. This week was the week I would go trough the last requirement for my qualification as a custodian for the city and it came and gone and I still do not know if I'll get the approval that the city needs. All that is looming in front of me is the desperate so state of our finances, the growing stress in my wife, and the financial miracle we need for the coming month. I dont know what is going to take place, all I know is we would need a thousand dollar to keep us afloat for another month for food, gas, bus money for Sherry and to pay partial on our bills essential and non. Now I've been saying all along on this blog that God is the solution for our world's unrest and that if there is to be true changes in our society, we have to return to God wholeheartedly with no agenda for our wellbeing but the sole understanding that God is good, love, pure, gentle, merciful, kind, caring, and that His entire desire is to have a relationship with us and to care for us as a people, and as individuals. The truth is that God does not need to do anything, He deserve worship and adoration for who he is, I sure would like if he helped us right now in this time of need like he's done before that is not the issue, the issue is will I still love him in five; minutes, hours, days, months, years, will I?

Christ will be preached one way or another
I love how God does things, not always nice and clean and when we try to organize too much He sometimes disrupt our intent to pursue His goal. As I continue to grasp the unfolding of destiny in our world the closer I want to come to simplicity. What we see happening is simple , the global occupy movement has been deemed one of the most significant democratic move of our society for some decades, but it lacks the dept of what shook eastern europe in the 80's where the power of the people was realy felt. Though it was on a smaller scale it impacted the whole world and ushered the fall of communism.Ideology of freedom was at stakes, what we see now is very different and change would require a total overall of society's philosophy. The democratic process was not the communism forte and the move that started in Poland found support easily in the western world. But the movement we see now, goes much deeper, it examine this whole ideology of freedom that democracy has bought for our society, freedom to pursue the western dream, self determination of pursuing your dream to comfort and prosperity. The fact that some are better at it then others and the sad realty that some use immoral ways to achieve their dreams, is a sher consequence of man's fall. Though it is not wrong to desire and pursue the dream, once again it prove the saying of John true, the love of money is the ruth of many evil, wether they be intentional or not intended. Our world's philosophy needs an upgrade and that program already exist, but to those who crave powerful reform, miraculous transformation, and those who are in power and have the means of wisdom, it is foolishness. The truth is this the words of Paul in 1Corinthian 1 are just as true as then.
22-25 While Jews clamor for miraculous demonstrations and Greeks go in for philosophical wisdom,we go right on proclaiming Christ, the Crucified. Jews treat this like an anti-miracle—and Greeks pass it off as absurd. But to us who are personally called by God himself—both Jews and Greeks —Christ is God's ultimate miracle and wisdom all wrapped up in one. Human wisdom is so tinny,so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can't begin to compete with God's "weakness."
26-31 Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you got called into this life. I don't see many of "the brightest and the best" among you,not many influential, not many from high-society families. Isn't it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these "nobodies" to expose the hollow pretensions of the "somebodies"? That makes it quite clear that none of you can get by with blowing your own horn before God. Everything that we have—right thinking and right living,a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. That's why we have the saying,"If you're going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God." 1Corinthian 1:22-31
That is truth.

Not much grace
Maybe one day I' ll continue my series on the staging of the end of time, but right now I do have pain on my heart.
Matthew 11:28-30 MSG
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
For the last couple of days I was following a comment blog on a letter in the Lethbridge Herald about the Gideon a well known group doing bible distribution in a school, in the area, parents were offended because the required authorization process was not fol lowed. I can understand the frustration of the parents, but soon the comments turned into an argument on religion and how the christians are imposing their ideas on others and worse on children. Now I drop out after two comments because it became personal between some of the respondant and did not want part of their vendetta. But it is a sad reality that religion will devide our society possibly more and more in the years to come, but again it's not a new thing, Jesus and the disciples talked about it. Religion has been a devisive force forever, but with Jesus it's different, you walk with him like a friend. Thats why the passage earlier is important, being a christian, is not are religion, it's being like Christ. That is truth

A stage is being set up part 2
36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

What is the focus on?
So much for writing a post every day, for a year it's to much work, plus I wanted to look at truths in the light of our world and refocus them in light of the bible. The best subject was the occupy move that spread globally and though it is a real concern and many lives are represented in the protest it lacks a true global approach. If we start to look at world events we quickly realize that the financial aspect is only the tip of the iceberg. Our world is tired of having it's focus on the $€¥£. But frankly it is what drives and destroy's it. But that to is not new it is as old as creation almost
1 John 2:15-17 MSG
Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world-wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important-has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out-but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
The disciples of Christ knew that already two thousand years ago, our supposedly christian society knew that years ago but again we forget fast. You see in the last few weeks I lived in tension between my needs, my faith, and my desire to draw close to God while I waited to hear some positive from all my job search, and now that I' ve heard and that there is a position for me, the tension is gone , and though I was not approaching God mainly for the purposes of securing employment I find myself in a restful state and would almost prefer being back st square 1 where our relationship seemed more vital. We are humans and fickle we are but thank God he knows us and loves us despite of what we are and as Paul writes we are being transformed.
2 Cor3
16-18 Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present,a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We're free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God,our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.
That is truth
