The truth is hard to bear

december 15 2012

Cruel murder of any people does not make sense even if my goal is too demistify truth, this truth is pretty hard to bear . None of it makes sense , a young man gets up one morning and decides to kill his mother and then goes to her school where she was a teacher and procedes to kill 25 more whom the majority where young children. How does one even contemplate such a goal for ones day. 20,000 years ago maybe a bit less ,a bit more, the man and his wife where in the garden, and in the middle of the garden there was two trees, the tree of life and on the tree of good and evil. The maker of the garden and off evrything else warned them not to eat the fruit, from the tree of good and evil, but a creature known as the serpent intice them to eat from it, and so they did . Both guilty a judgment fall on mankind ,both man and women, the paridise life was over and now toil and pain was to be their lot. But even more so the consequence of their action. Cast away from the garden so they would not taste the fruit of the tree of life, they had nevertheless eaten he fruit of good and evil. Mankind would not live forever, but now possessed the capacity for great good and great evil. It as been the story of mankind since then. People will cry fables and a distorted un derstanding of evolution, etc... but asside of that story how do you truly explain the ; insert a great list of the worst masacre of history wether it be nation ,peoples or individuals, then how do you explain that the same mankind coul do;  insrt a great list of all the good things that have happened in the world for nations, peoples, or individuals. How else do you explain that capacity to do those great evil and good acts how do you explain that in a world where we are all the same except for a few difference like color and languages, people living in the same country kill each other daily ,because of politics ,religion, money, and a long list of many other reasons. Is it any better if there is a reasons, then a sensless act like last week .

We need Jesus ,seems almost a clichee, too simplistic, Jesus came already over two thousand years ago in a manger he was born , propably in his first year of life his parents had to flee because an evil king made a law that all children under a certain age had to be killed, Jesus knows about massacre and he knows the pain of the families. Some niece and nephew of my wife and I have a 7 month old boy with health issues with his arteries and lungs and though there is nothing the doctors can do anymore to repair his little body his parents are given the priviledge of loving him in ways that are hard for the common people to imagine, they have Jesus and all the love that is in him. We heard of some parents that have that same love, from that school.

You see the world has Jesus he is right there Just at the mention of his name he can come in ones life, But Jesus is not a blanket, that you can just trow on a season and that will make everything good, no Jesus is new life the you have to breath in that you have to receive. We dont live in  paridise anymore, and pain and suffering is the lot of mankind and our lives have a capacity for good or evil , evil is not necesserily the foulest crimes but it could just be a lie or jalousy, good is not only saving millions of people or giving all what you have ,but in loving your dying child with all the resources off your heart.

Yes our world needs Jesus , needs his heart, his love, his life a new life, a heart of flesh instead of heart of stone , we need to know that we are fallen if we dont know it yet, and that Jesus can lift us up and make us children of God each and everyone of us and that is truth. My prime mate not a primate

Sitting quietly on the couch massaging my wife's feet,I started to think about the beauty and complexity of the human, body, and how wonderful it is, and how all creation is absolutely amazing. My wife has beautiful feet, might I ad, and they are perfectly fitted to the rest of her body, and though they get tired and sore by the end of a work day, standing and walking behind a counter serving customers, putting orders away and just plain business, they are back at it the next day and do it all over again. I know, a lot of people do suffer from foot ailment of all kinds, and I feel for them at the moment because I am made aware of how we take our feet for granted, and how essential, they are for or lives.
With 26 bones,33 joints of witch 20 you articulate yourself, and more then a 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments,(Wikipedia), they are a marvel of engineering, designed to give us a complex range of mobility, from balance to speed to endurance, and precision. Recently I watched a video of a young gymnast doing her floor routine and though I have watched olympics competition many times, it is still a wonder to see them and the control they have on their body, and for a lot of these possibilities they have their feet to thank for.
As my thoughts kept going deeper in the intricacies of the human foot and particular qualities, I reed about it's complex design and of  the shapes of the bones and combination of muscles tendons and ligaments, that gives it it's multiple abilities, it is just plain amazing.
A while ago I watched an episode of Harry's law, and  they where considering the case of a gorilla and the defense it's rights , and then a week ago we  watched Tarzan the animated version, so my thoughts wondered to the animal kingdom. A very similar complexity of design in the animals foot for all species who have them, from the elephant to the smallest of vertebrates like frogs or salamanders.
Both my daughter and daughter in law are pregnant, due about two month apart from each other so it's no  wonder we have been following their progress and that of the babies, so to wrap it up, all these thoughts bring me back to the wonders of the intricacies of our bodies and the fact that we can somehow have a true sense and knowledge of how it function.
Now,I am not a doctor or a biologist or any kind of scientist but I can understand to a certain dept what I read about the physiology of the body. Here is my point how can we attribute such complexity to evolution and how can we have such insight in this complex world around us just because we evolved a little more then, the great apes, after all just a chromosome difference. How could King David of the Jews have such insight to be able to write Psalm139
Psalm 139:13-16 MSG
Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God-you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration-what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.
How could we have such insight if it where not because we are created in the likeness of God with capacity to know and understand.
Genesis 1:26-28 MSG
God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth." God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God's nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth."
